For top secret reasons, the Washington reading is canceled. I can’t really say more at this time but certain book stores are not my friend any more.

On a brighter note, the Tribeca reading was one of the nicest nights of my life! Thanks to everyone for turning out — especially the people who didn’t know me, that was the part I couldn’t believe.

Apparently, I can barely utter a thought without saying “you know?” at least once, sometimes more. And, you know, the more aware of it I become, the worse it gets. I’m thinking of wearing a little shock collar and whenever I say “you know” letting Violet zap me. But then again I might want to get someone who doesn’t call A, E, I, O, and U ‘bowels’.

I’m going to the Central Park Zoo today with Violet’s class. Don’t ask me why we’re taking a trip to 59th and 5th and not even setting foot into Bergdorfs. This is the third class trip we’ve taken to see animals (Queens petting zoo, Bronx zoo, Central Park zoo). Not once have we taken a class trip see accessories!  No child left behind except the one who wants to see some spring shoes and bags!
