The puppies left today and we’re all sad. Violet said, “Can we pretend they’re still here and just hiding under the bed?”

So I joined Facebook mainly because I was writing something about Goodreads and wanted to make some snarky comparisons between the two. The jury is still out as to whether I’ll stay on it or not. I don’t really get the point of it except if you need a big fat time suck, and who doesn’t? At the moment, I’m friends with 48 people which include several members of my family and guess what I don’t really need them as Facebook friends. So far, I’ve gotten some virtual hugs and good karma and an appletini all of which just served to embarrass me. Maybe I’m too old for this sort of thing.

Nevermind, I have to stay on. I just remembered I’m my cousin Yitzhak’s only friend.
